Can I use Windscribe for Free?

Windscribe believes in opportunities for everyone! That is why we offer the same awesome VPN service as the paid version, for free!

When you create an account with Windscribe, by default you will have a Free account with 2GB of VPN bandwidth every month.

If you add and confirm your email address, you will automatically be upgraded to the Free 10GB per month plan. If you already made an account without an email address, check out this guide for how to add one to your account.

Now it doesn't just stop there, if you want to add even more monthly bandwidth to your Free account, here are a few options for you:

• Got an X account? Post about Windscribe on X and we'll permanently add 5GB to your monthly data limit. Look for the Tweet For Data card on the Billing tab in My Account, or claim your 5GB here. It's a one-time bonus, and your email address needs to be confirmed first.
• Got friends? You can refer them to our service and earn free bandwidth and even free Pro! Check out our Referral Program for details.
• Got a knack for wasting hours on Reddit or Discord? Stop by the /r/Windscribe Subreddit where we do promotions, contests and giveaways or talk and hang out with some great folks in the Discord server.
